GLP-1 Companion Program Engagement Requirements
The GLP-1 Companion Requirements are designed to monitor for sustained and high-impact member activities, ensuring rigorous and effective participation in the program. Grace period to engage ends 4/1.
The following activities must be completed for a member to be marked as engaged for prior authorization purposes:
1. Enrollment Requirement (1-Time Activity)
Enroll with Vida in an available Preventive body, Preventive mind, or Chronic program.
2. Ongoing Engagement Requirements (Monthly Frequencies)
Members must engage with Vida in each of the following three types of ongoing activities at the specified minimum frequencies:

| Provider Interaction | Completes a consultation with a Vida provider OR participates in a synchronous group coaching session. | 1 time per month |
| Biometric Monitoring | Measures and records a health goal or outcome metric (e.g., weigh-ins) either manually or through a connected device. | 3 times per week, 3 out of 4 weeks |
| Self-Paced Learning | Completes a program unit or related educational content (e.g., lesson, health screener, content card, worksheet, guided video). | 1 time per week, 2 out of 4 weeks |
Outcome: If the above requirements are completed, the member will be marked as engaged on the file provided to the member’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to inform the prior authorization requirements for GLP-1 medication.
