If you are currently enrolled in Vida's Therapy or Mental Health coaching program, starting January 1, 2025, you can access free support by contacting Headspace at 855-420-0734. For those covered under the health plan, BCBSMA has partnered with various providers who may offer assistance, including Alma, Headway, Thriveworks, Talkiatry, and Rula Health (all specializing in general mental health and psychiatry), along with specialized services such as Eating Disorder Recovery Specialists, DynamiCare (for addiction), Equip Health (for eating disorders), and NOCD (for OCD).
If you are working with Vida to manage your diabetes and are enrolled in the Shields Health Plan, you can now receive support through Virta Health by signing up at the website for Virta for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
As these new benefits take effect, Shields Health will transition away from Vida Health services, and your account with Vida will close on December 31, 2024. For continued services using Shields’ other resources or if you have any questions about this change, don't hesitate to contact Human Resources at hrhelp@shieldsrx.com for further information.
