📣 Program Update: Danaher / Genedata Population Addition

Please be aware of a scheduled population increase for the Danaher account:

• New Population Added: Approximately 100 members from Genedata will be integrated into the existing Danaher account.

• Effective Date: Eligibility for the added Genedata population will begin on January 1, 2026.

Action Required: Ensure eligibility checks reference the Danaher account for Genedata members effective the start date.

AOM Prescribing - Use Case 3

Vida is the only (Anti Obesity Medication) AOM prescriber covered in the plan. 

• Members have access to obesity treatment via Vida's Medical Weight Loss program, which includes an extensive medical intake with labs. They receive MNT and health coaching. They will be evaluated as candidates for AOM at the start of the program and throughout, based on their weight loss progress.
• Vida prescribes AOMs?

  • No - starting 7/1/25
• Will members already on GLP-1s who are currently < BMI threshold be grandfathered if they were >threshold at time of initial Rx?
  • Yes, grandfathering - no need to verify in medical records but provider should verify that they've seen evidence of an active prescription
  • NOTE: Members who were on an AOM prior to using Vida need to share verification of medication when they meet with the provider. They do not need to verify BMI. So, they should not be told their BMI is not in range.
    • In onboarding: if the member claims indicate they have AOM OR answers yes to the AOM screener in onboarding, they will be routed to MWL
    • If they do not have any AOM history, then BMI is used as a criteria to recommend MWL as a program.

NOTES

• Danaher will approve a 1-month exception for all legacy users (on AOM/grandfather list prior to Vida) that haven’t gotten fully enrolled and on track with Vida. It will be critical that these users immediately enroll in Vida and go through the Vida process in asap. 
• No more overrides past 3/31/25 unless member is clinically unable to enroll in Vida; For clinical exceptions Vida to share with CVS - these members will need to go through the PA if using no Vida provider

You can confirm if a member is on a self-funded plan by click into the member's B2B profile and refer to the section named Medical plan name.
