Summary: To ensure your security and maintain the highest clinical standards, Vida Health requires identity verification for all appointments with our Medical Providers.
📋 What to Bring to Your Appointment
To avoid any delays in your care, please have the following ready before you join your video call:
A Valid Photo ID: You must present a government-issued identification card (such as a Driver’s License, Passport, or State ID).
Good Lighting: Ensure you are in a well-lit area so your provider can clearly see your ID and your face.
👩⚕️ Which Appointments Require an ID?
Currently, this requirement applies only to visits with Vida Medical Providers.
Required for: Physicians (MD/DO) and Nurse Practitioners (NP).
Not Currently Required for: Health Coaches, Registered Dietitians, or Therapists.
🔄 Is this required for every visit?
Yes. You must present your ID at the start of every synchronous video consult with a Medical Provider, even if you have seen them before. This is a mandatory compliance step for every session.
❓ Why is this required?
Verifying your identity protects your medical records and ensures we are compliant with clinical and legal regulations regarding telemedicine.
