To ensure you are receiving the right level of care and support while on this medication, your pharmacy coverage is tied to your active participation in your Vida program (such as Weight Loss+, Medical Weight Loss, or Cardiometabolic Weight Loss).
This guide explains exactly what you need to do to keep your medication coverage active and how to track your progress directly in the Vida app.
How the "Rolling 4-Week Window" Works
Your eligibility is based on a rolling 4-calendar-week period. This means the system is always looking at your activity over the current week plus the previous three weeks (weeks run Monday through Sunday).
Because the window is always moving forward, an activity you completed 5 weeks ago will eventually drop off your record. To maintain a "Green" (Eligible) status, you must consistently engage with your program.
Your 3 Engagement Requirements
To stay eligible for your GLP-1 prescription, you must meet all three of the following requirements within that 4-week rolling window:

Important Note About Grace Periods: Depending on your specific employer or health plan, you may have a "grace period" (typically 90 days) to get enrolled and start building your engagement habits before these rules impact your pharmacy coverage. (Note for Sutter Health Members: If you are new to GLP-1s, your plan requires 6 out of 7 months of monthly engagement before you become eligible for a prescription, following a 60-day grace period).

🟢 Green Status: You have met all requirements, and your medication coverage is active.
🔴 Red Status: You are missing one or more requirements and need to complete an activity to restore your coverage.
Frequently Asked Questions
"I tracked my metric today, but my tracker is still showing Red. Why?"
It can take a short amount of time for the system to process your daily activity. If you logged your activity late in the day, it may not reflect until the system completes its daily refresh.
"I was Green yesterday, but today my app says I am Red. What happened?"
Because your eligibility is based on a rolling 4-week window, this usually means a week where you had successful engagement just "dropped off" the back end of the 4-week lookback period. Check your tracker to see which specific requirement (Consult, Tracking, or Learning) is currently missing for the new 4-week window.
"I need my prescription refill today, but I am Red. What do I do?"
