This guide walks you through the steps to switch your Health Coach, Registered Dietitian (RD), or Medical Provider directly within the app. To change a Therapist, please message your current therapist in the app or reach out to support@vida.com for assistance.
Initiate the Switch

Tap the gear icon located in the top right-hand corner of your Home screen.

Tap "Switch Provider."

If you have multiple providers, select the one you wish to switch (e.g., your Health Coach or RD). If the option to switch your Medical Provider is not available to you, please contact support@vida.com for assistance. Tap "Continue."

Customize Your New Provider Match
1. Provide Context for the Change
You'll be asked to complete a short survey. This helps our team find the best match for you.

Select the reason for your request (e.g., Coaching Style, Scheduling Conflict).

Use the text box provided to include any additional details.

Tap "Continue."
2. Confirm Your Availability
Your availability from when you first onboarded should pre-populate.

If your schedule has changed, update the times you are available for sessions.

If your schedule is still the same, tap "Continue." located at the bottom of the screen.
3. Review Your Motivation Style
This section asks about what motivates you. Your previous selections will pre-populate.

Update or change your coaching style selections if desired.

Tap "Continue" when ready.
Select and Confirm Your New Provider

A list of new providers will appear, matched based on the preferences you just confirmed. Scroll through the list to view your options.

Tap on a provider's card to read their short bio.

Once you have found your new provider, you will be asked to confirm this choice or keep your current provider.

To finalize the process, tap "Change Provider."
Final Steps

You will be redirected back to your Settings tab.

To view your new provider, navigate back to your Chat tab where the changes will be committed.
